Gladys, Candy and the Kids.

Another post about Africa. I'd like you to meet Gladys, Candy, and Nagesh. And the rest of the family. If I try to get all of their names, I'll miss some and spell them completely wrong. They became my family while I was in Swaziland.

                      Cassi, Gladys, and I

Gladys. My African Grandmother. This lady is truly incredible and inspiring. She has a huge heart and a beautiful smile. I miss her more than words can say. She took us in and loved us like her own children. Some of my favorite memories are in her home. Many afternoons were spent painting nails, playing cards, and having tea together.

Candy. I love this girl! We became friends over our many visits together. We didn't get to spend that much time together because she takes such good care of Gladys and her baby boy. So, I would try to join her while she did household chores. I loved laughing together as she made fun of my cleaning skills. I'm so glad I had the chance to meet her and love her.

Nagesh. This boy stole my heart. He is such a ham. We became best buddies. He would ask Gladys where the "little ladies" were. He loved to entertain us and sit on our laps. So much more attention than he is used to! I miss giggling with this little guy.

I hope you enjoyed getting to know this family! I miss them so much and I am so thankful God let our paths cross. :)
